Chipping Barnet, often called High Barnet, is a town in the London Borough of Barnet, about 10.5 miles north of Charing Cross. Its High Street lies on the historic Great North Road at the top of Barnet Hill. High Barnet station is the terminus of a Northern line branch, and the A1 Barnet Bypass runs to the west.
