Whether you’re selling a handful of products or thousands, I build online shops on Shopify that are easy for your customers to buy from and easy for you to manage day to day.
Why I build shops on Shopify
Shopify is an all-in-one online shop platform. Hosting, security, checkout and payments are handled by Shopify, and you pay them a monthly subscription directly. That means fewer things to go wrong, and a shop you can run from your phone.
Only selling a few things, or taking deposits and bookings? You may not need a full shop at all. I can add secure card payments through Stripe to a WordPress website instead. I’ll tell you honestly which suits you during our first chat. You can also read my guide to WordPress vs Shopify.
Who it’s for
- Businesses moving online that want to sell beyond their local area.
- Shops with large catalogues that need products organised so customers can find them quickly.
- Startups that want to launch a professional store without a big agency bill.
- Existing shops that are slow, hard to manage or not showing up on Google.
What’s included
- Up to four mockup designs of your store, so you can see it before anything is built.
- Product pages set up with clear photos, descriptions, prices and options (such as size or colour).
- Categories and filters so customers can browse easily.
- Secure checkout with your chosen payment providers.
- Shipping, tax and email notification settings.
- Search-friendly product pages: titles, descriptions, image alt text (short text that describes an image for Google and screen readers) and clean web addresses — see SEO.
- Google Shopping and Analytics connections where needed — see Google integrations.
- Content writing for up to 10 pages — see content writing.
- A one-hour training session on adding products and handling orders.
How it works
- A free chat about what you sell, who buys it and how you deliver it.
- A proposal and a mockup of your store.
- Build and test — I set up the store, add your products (or show you how to bulk-import them) and test orders end to end.
- Launch and support — your shop goes live and I’m on hand for questions as the first orders come in.
How long it takes depends mainly on the number of products and how ready the product information is. I’ll give you a timeline in your proposal.
Examples of my work
Primrox is a Shopify store with more than 1,400 products, where the challenge was keeping a very large catalogue organised and search-friendly — including product titles, Google Shopping fields and image text across the whole range.

Frequently asked questions
Do I have to pay Shopify as well as you?
Yes. Shopify charges a monthly subscription for the platform, which you pay to them directly. My fee covers designing and setting up your store.
Can you move my existing shop to Shopify?
Usually, yes. Products, customers and orders can often be moved across. I’ll check what’s possible before quoting.
Can I add products myself after launch?
Yes. Training is included so you can add products, change prices and process orders on your own.
Can you help with lots of products at once?
Yes. For large catalogues I can prepare products in spreadsheets and import them in bulk, which is far quicker than adding them one by one.
