Every website needs somewhere to live online. Hosting is the computer (server) that stores your site and shows it to visitors. My care plans combine reliable hosting with the ongoing jobs that keep a website safe and healthy — so you don’t have to think about them.
What’s included in every care plan
- Hosting storage for your website’s files and images.
- An email address at your own domain (e.g. you@yourbusiness.co.uk), with 1 GB of space.
- SSL security — the padlock in the address bar, which encrypts information visitors send you.
- Access to your admin dashboard at all times.
- Google integrations kept working — see Google integrations.

- Monthly maintenance — WordPress, theme and plugin updates, which close security holes.
- Ongoing technical support by email and phone.
- Regular backups, so your site can be restored if something goes wrong.
How the care plan works with your website
Every website package on my pricing page has an optional monthly care plan, shown on the package itself. Tick it when you order and it starts with your final payment, when your website goes live. It then renews monthly, and you can cancel with one month’s notice.
Already have a website? If someone else built it, I can usually still host it and look after it. Every site is different, so I’ll take a look first and give you an honest quote. Send me an enquiry with your web address.

Frequently asked questions
Can you move my website from my current host?
Yes. I’ll move your site and email with as little disruption as possible, usually outside busy hours.
What happens if my website goes down?
I monitor sites on care plans and will investigate as soon as I know there’s a problem. Backups mean the site can be restored if needed.
Do I own my domain name?
Yes. It’s registered in your name, so you stay in control, and I’ll help you move it if you ever want to.
Can I cancel my care plan?
Yes, with one month’s notice by email. If you move your website elsewhere, I’ll help you take it with you.
Why are updates so important?
Most hacked WordPress sites are running out-of-date software. Regular updates close those gaps before they can be exploited.
